Meet the Founders

Nate

Nate

Based in Ohio. Parent. Developer and tech guy by day. Loves music, guitars, and anything that involves quietly working through a puzzle. Always happy with a low-key night in, but would never say no to a beach if given the chance.

Rachell

Rachell

Based in Kansas. Parent. Always building something new. Loves starting from scratch — and if a task can be automated, it probably already is (or will be soon). Has two dogs who are convinced they are lap dogs. Frequently thinking about where her next plane ticket will take her.

Why Remember-lings?

Remember-lings started the way a lot of meaningful ideas do: from noticing something small but important.

We realized that we don't really have "Facebook Memories" together — because we don't post much on social media. Our relationship doesn't live there. It lives in our messages. The everyday check-ins, inside jokes, long conversations, family updates, and moments that don't make polished posts but are real life.

That sparked a question: if that's where the meaningful stuff is, what happens to it over time?

Rachell started building. And kept building. She got most of the way there before eventually turning to Nate with a familiar question that roughly translated to, "So hypothetically… how hard would this part be?"

A little developer help, a lot of late nights, and a few "wait, this actually works" moments later — Remember-lings was born.

At its core, Remember-lings is about memories: how they're made, how they're shared, and how revisiting them strengthens the bonds between us. For us, reminiscing isn't looking backward — it's a way of staying connected through our stories. There's no perfection or performance here, just the moments that continue to matter.
