1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Remember-lings, you agree to these Terms & Conditions ("Terms").
If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must confirm that you are at least 13 years old to create an account.
2. The Service
Remember-lings allows users to:
- Upload chat or message text files
- Convert them into a unified data structure
- Generate AI-powered summaries based on user preferences
- View and manage summary history
- Export summary history as downloadable files
- Use Insight-lings to ask questions about relationships based on uploaded chat data
3. Accounts & Eligibility
- You are responsible for maintaining account security.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account.
- The Service is intended primarily for adults, but users 13+ may create accounts.
4. User Content & Responsibility
a. Ownership
You retain full ownership of all content you upload and all summaries generated.
b. License to Remember-lings
You grant Remember-lings a limited, revocable license to process your content solely to provide the Service.
c. Responsibility for Content
You are solely responsible for any content you upload.
Remember-lings does not verify, moderate, or review uploaded content.
You agree not to hold Remember-lings liable for:
- Content involving minors
- Content you do not have the right to upload
- Any consequences arising from your uploaded content
5. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
- AI-generated summaries may contain errors or omissions.
- Summaries are provided "as is."
- They are not legal, medical, therapeutic, or professional advice.
5a. Insight-lings Feature Terms
The Insight-lings feature provides AI-powered insights about relationships based on your uploaded chat data. By using this feature, you agree to the following:
- No Persistent Storage: Your questions and the AI's responses are not stored in our database. Chat history exists only in your browser session and is cleared when you close the page or refresh.
- Token Usage Tracking: We only track and store the amount of AI tokens used for billing and usage limit purposes. This does not include the content of your questions or responses.
- Informational Purposes Only: All responses generated by Insight-lings are for informational purposes only and are based on patterns in your uploaded chat data.
- Not Professional Advice: Insight-lings responses are not, and should not be used as, legal, medical, therapeutic, psychological, or any other form of professional advice.
- Not Predictive: Responses should not be used to predict future outcomes, behaviors, or relationship dynamics. They reflect patterns in past communications only.
- No Guarantees: We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any responses generated by Insight-lings.
- Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for how you interpret and use the information provided by Insight-lings. Remember-lings is not liable for any decisions or actions you take based on Insight-lings responses.
These insights are meant to encourage reflection, not predict outcomes or serve as a substitute for professional guidance.
6. Subscriptions & Payments
- Subscriptions are billed via Stripe.
- Plans may include free, monthly, or annual tiers.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled.
- No refunds are provided.
- You may change or cancel your subscription at any time through your account.
7. Data Export & Deletion
- You may export your summary history at any time through your account settings.
- Export files are provided in JSON format and are available for download for 7 days after generation.
- You may delete chats, summaries, or your entire account at any time.
- Remember-lings may suspend or terminate accounts for abuse, misuse, or violation of these Terms.
8. Service Availability
We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law:
- Remember-lings is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- Total liability will not exceed the amount you paid to Remember-lings in the past 12 months (or $0 for free users).
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Remember-lings from claims arising out of:
- Your use of the Service
- Your uploaded content
- Violation of these Terms
11. Arbitration & Class Action Waiver
- Any dispute arising from these Terms will be resolved by binding arbitration, governed by Delaware law.
- You agree to waive the right to participate in class actions or class arbitration.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
